On a beautiful estate, two farmhouses face each other across an orchard of peaches, plums, figs and vines. Originally used for milling flour and the making of wine, they have recently been restored to a very high standard with Tuscan colours, terracotta tiles and original wooden beams throughout.

These two properties share a large, heated swimming pool, and can be rented together for larger groups. Smaller parties may rent the larger property only with exclusive use of the grounds and swimming pool. The villas are accessed along a private drive that leads through the surrounding woods, and provide an excellent base for visiting the Renaissance centres of Florence, Pisa, Siena and the ancient walled city of Lucca, which is just a 10km away.

A short stroll leads to the nearest village, Ponte a Moriano, where guests can find small shops - perfect for stocking up on delicious Tuscan treats!

Ground Floor - On the ground floor there is a large sitting room with an open fireplace, TV, video & DVD players and double French windows which lead to the orchard. A few steps lead down to the dining room, cloakroom and the kitchen with walk-in pantry. The kitchen opens onto a terrace overlooking the swimming pool. There is also another terrace with a barbeque, ideal for al fresco dining. A pleasant patio area offers opportunities for reclining under the large sun umbrellas provided.

Mezzanine - A double bedroom with four poster bed, en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet can be found on the mezzanine level. This bedroom is accessible from a staircase, or from outside through French windows. There are also two twin bedrooms, sharing a bathroom with tub.

First Floor - One double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub and shower and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower are on the first floor.
